BIM Drafting provided 3D Modelling & Shop Detailing services for more than 6000t of structural, mechanical, and platework steel to FMG’s Solomon project. In order to meet the tightest of schedules, BIM was able to deliver an unprecedented 1500t of steel per month, closing out the scope within just 120 days.  ​ This project was made possible through early engagement of the design team, allowing BIM to begin releasing models and drawings shortly after the final design drawings became available. Further schedule acceleration was achieved through coordination between disciplines (inc. Piping, Electrical, Concrete) and through the effective management of 140 highly skilled resources.
